Satish Mahana is an Indian politician and eight‑time Member of the Legislative Assembly from Kanpur. He currently serves as the Speaker of the Uttar Pradesh Legislative Assembly and represents the Maharajpur constituency. Previously, he held the Industrial Development portfolio as a Cabinet Minister in the Yogi Adityanath government. He has served as Vice Leader of BJP in the 16th Vidhan Sabha and earlier coordinated the Bajrang Dal youth wing in Kanpur Purvottar District.
Born on 14 October 1960 in Kanpur, Uttar Pradesh, to Ram Avtar Mahana in a Hindu Khatri family, Satish Mahana completed his early schooling at St. Joseph's Senior Secondary School, Kanpur.
He graduated with a Bachelor of Science from Kanpur University. In 1981, he married Anita Mahana. The couple has two children — Karan Mahana and Neha Mahana.
